Calling All Louisiana Innkeepers!

Louisiana bed and breakfast innkeepers, both seasoned and aspiring, are invited to the Louisiana Bed and Breakfast Association Conference on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, in Franklin, Louisiana. All attendees will find something informative and useful at this one-day conference and will have the opportunity to network with other innkeepers from across the state.

Registration will begin at 7:30 am with a continental breakfast. The conference will begin at 8:30 am with a Welcome Address by Carol Aucoin of LaBelle Riviere Bed and Breakfast, LBBA President; and Vanessa Spinella, of Cajun Coast CVB. Next will be a Roundtable Discussion by a panel of innkeepers.

Speakers for the conference will be: • Joseph Dunn: “Working with Receptive Operators” • Charles Waltman (Louisiana Travel Promotion Association): “Marketing Strategies for your B&B” • Joana Larson (American Society for Asset Protection) “How B&B Owners Can Become Invincible to Law Suits and Save Thousands in Taxes” • Bryan Fontenot (Brown & Brown Insurance)

After Lunch, Lt. Governor Billy Nunguesser will address the group.

Following the LBBA Annual Meeting, which will take place immediately after the conference, attendees will caravan to tour Oaklawn Manor, the magnificent home of Governor Murphy “Mike” and Alice Foster’s Home, sponsored by Cajun Coast CVB.

Attendees will then caravan to tour Fairfax House Bed and Breakfast in Franklin, and have the option of attending a light dinner at the B&B (Optional Ticketed Function).

If you are not a member of the Louisiana Bed and Breakfast Association, you are still invited to attend the conference, as it is open to non-members as well as members.
