Agritourism is where agriculture and tourism intersect. Farms and ranches invite the public to their property to experience the outdoors, leisure pace, and healthy and nutritious produce. It is a fast-growing segment of the travel industry. Agritourism includes visits to ranches, wineries, working farms, and agricultural industries. These destinations offer a variety of entertainment, relaxation, education, adventures, and shopping and dining experiences. Bed and breakfasts who qualify for this type of designation offer a different type of adventure to their guests.
